The pilot killed in a crash yesterday in a Palo Alto wildlife preserve is being identified as a Placerville man. KCRA-3 says Willard Spencer was killed and two passengers were injured in the crash near the Palo Alto Airport.
Spencer was transporting a mother and daughter from Redding on a volunteer mission for Angel Flight West.
They women were headed to Stanford's Lucille Packard Children's Hospital.
