  1. Northern California is getting more crowded. The Capitol metro area has been experiencing a surge in population, and the region is melding together more than anywhere else in California. The reason for this is the ability to work from home which brought the freedom to change where home is and people are coming from Bay Area residents.
  2. Sacramento County sheriff’s investigators arrested a man suspected of using social media to lure children into performing sexual acts in an investigation that has identified over 80 victims throughout the United States. He is scheduled to appear in Sacramento Superior Court for his arraignment on Thursday.
  3. The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California has declared a water shortage emergency and starting June 1st, there will be mandatory water cutbacks. Six million people are forced to cut their outdoor watering to one day a week.
