POLL: Does CA Really Need To Move Its Presidential Primary?

Secretary of State Alex Padilla is supporting a bill that would move up California's June 2020 presidential primary.  Padilla said yesterday that he backs Senate Bill 568 introduced by Senator Ricardo Lara that would move the primary up to at least the third Tuesday in March, immediately after the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire Primary. The bill would also authorize Governor Brown to push up the primary even earlier if other states decide to move up their primary elections.
