St. Vincent De Paul in Folsom (311 Montrose Drive) is looking for food donations ahead of a Thanksgiving food drive next week. There are a few specific items they are looking for to complete the bags that will be given out to those in need for Thanksgiving. They will be holding the Thanksgiving food bag drive on November 19th, November 21st, November 24th, and Thanksgiving Day on November 26th.
The most needed items are as follow:
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Stuffing
- Canned items like yams, pumpkin, green beans, gravy, cranberry sauce, and chicken broth
All donations are tax deductible. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am – 12pm.
